Just in case you needed another reason to come and visit Kuching.
Honestly, I've never been more proud of my roots.
Growing up in Kuching, there was never racial tension because there really was too many races. We made friends based on personalities.
So yes there were still cliques,
but the cliques weren't based on skin colour.
We might not have the biggest malls (but VIVA city will be huge),
or the best food ( I GENUINELY THINK KUCHING FOOD IS THE BEST),
or the nicest tourist spots ( watch the video and see if that changes your mind)...
All in all.
This is my home.
